There are Albanian language secondary schools, wither gymnasium or normal schools, at Pristina, Gillan, Djakovica, Prizren, Podujevo, Gostivar, Tetovo, and Skoplje. At Pec there is a 7-class gymnasium. 2. There are "8-year" schools, i.e. 4 years elementary and 4 years secondary, at Tuzi, Uleinj, Gusinje,and Vladimir. 3. The Yugoslav Government has recently been attempting to change some of the lower Albanian schools 25X1 This was done at Gillan, Pec, Prizren, Gostivar, and Podujevo despite resistance by teachers, parents, and children. At Tivat (Bar) there was formerly an Albanian language school which has now been turned over to Serbo-Croatian. 4. At Belgrade University there is an Albanian language school of "Albanology" which includes philosophy and other subjects. The chair is held by a Serb whose asaligtant is an Albanian Catholic. 5. At Zagreb Univeraity there is no Albanian school, but the chair of philosophy is held by a professor named Stock, who is a good "Albanologist". 25 YEAR RE-REVIEW SECRET CONTROL U. S.
