Abdurrahman Şeref Güzelyazıcı, who was born in the town of Petrich in the Serez Sanjak of Thessaloniki Province in 1904 and passed away in Istanbul in 1978, is a scholar and writer who grew up in the last period of the Ottoman Empire and held important positions in the Republic of Turkey.
